Our Story

Tim's story is all about early hustle and lifelong dedication.

Tim Comiskey was born in Miles, Western Queensland, the son of a cattle farmer and a nurse. Raised across multiple properties in country Queensland, Tim developed a strong connection to the land from an early age. After moving to Brisbane to attend St Joseph's Nudgee College, every school holiday saw him return out West, boots on the ground, working stock, riding horses and motorbikes, and contributing to station life.

Tim's work ethic started young. At just 11 years old, he began working in a local butcher shop, and by 13, he was opening the store on Saturdays, handling sales and operations. At the same time, he took on a second job at a video store, managing stock and organisation. This early responsibility laid the foundation for a lifetime of hands-on experience and business ownership.

By 19, in 2001, Tim launched his first business, working in contract labour hire, earthmoving machinery operations, and mechanical repairs. He went on to complete a heavy vehicle diesel mechanic apprenticeship, further strengthening his practical skillset. In 2007, he established a transport business that continues to operate today, now with nearly two decades of experience, including a decade specialising in bank repossession work as a licensed field agent.

Tim has spent over 20 years living and working across Toowoomba and the Lockyer Valley, while also operating extensively throughout rural Queensland. His experience spans transporting heavy machinery, working within the mining and drilling sectors, and managing logistics across some of the state's most demanding environments.

Alongside this, Tim has been heavily involved in machinery auctions and clearing sales, regularly buying and selling equipment to meet client needs. This has given him a deep understanding of asset values, negotiation, and achieving results in high-pressure sale environments.

Outside of work, Tim has a strong passion for aviation, holding licences across multiple categories including ultralights, fixed-wing aircraft, gyrocopters, and helicopters further reflecting his commitment to skill, discipline, and continuous learning.

“When you're looking for someone to be totally committed to selling your assets and giving you the best possible outcome, with the least amount of hassles, you can trust his experience and commitment to your buying or selling goal.”

Chantelle Osborne

Growing up on a small dairy farm in NZ, Chantelle learnt the essence of hard work at a young age. Her first job was chief manure collected at a miniature horse stud from the age of 13. Relocating permanently to Australia when she was 19, Chantelle moved into a professional career in HR. Her deep passion for fairness, equality and people saw her growing into an executive WHS/HR role with the world's largest recruiter. The calling of the land became too strong and in 2015 she 'threw it all in' and moved from Sydney to outback Queensland where she took on a role as a governess and station hand. 5 years in the outback later, while still consulting in the WHS and business management space on the side in her evenings, she met her now husband whilst he was contract planting wheat on a property she was managing in SW QLD. They now reside in regional Victoria on their own property with their beautiful children, where Chantelle works from home and continues to bring forward her professionalism, understanding and quiet, determined hustle. She understands the land, the grit it takes to work it and the challenges rural families face. Her warmth, and drive as a mother first, business partner and professional, all ensure a relatable, smooth experience for all clients.

Junior Help

Bridie C

Bridie is a 14 year old school girl who helps out and does some of the photography behind the scenes at Lone Star Real Estate. On a horse before she could walk, and stealing her mum's SLR before she could read, Bridie was country-raised and country-grounded. Happiest with horses, trucks, family and a camera in hand.

Professional photography is outsourced.
